checking a page as user

    hello,
    i want to write an app for myself that regulary checks a website and gives an alert when something specific appears on that site.
    the thing is, i need to be logged in at this website for that. The Website is nto mine. What would be the easiest way to achieve that?
    WebViews or something similar or can this be achieved with HttPRequests?
    I don't have much experience in this area. Thank you in advance for your help

    does it really need to be an app, too check that website?
    Maybe its more easier to write an webservice with php/python and send a push message to your App.


    If it has to be an app, check webview and login via javascript.
